Why Doms

WhyDOMS started as a rap duo back in 2016 when the founding members, Why Mark & J DOMS met in high school. They worked on their craft for years and in 2023 started making waves in the Louisville rap scene. Their stage presence and talent were immediately noticed and they were quickly given more opportunities to prove themselves. In 2023 & 2024 WhyDOMS had something to prove and played 30 shows at 20 different venues. 

In 2024 WhyDOMS became a full band with Chris Carswell on lead guitar, John Moriarty on Bass, J DOMS on the drums/vocals, and Why Mark becoming the front man. They blended their Hip-Hop roots and the Heavy Metal sound and never looked back. They began to play for bigger crowds and were welcomed with open arms (and mosh pits) to this new community.

Whether its playing in a small garage during a snowstorm or playing in front of 2,000 people at No Comply, WhyDOMS leaves it all on the stage.
